With over 25 years of experience as a product innovator, entrepreneur, CEO, and attorney, Adam delivers strategic solutions that drive value and resolve complex and emotional business challenges. His journey began in his family’s manufacturing business, which closed after 40 years of success during his parents’ divorce, shaping his understanding of how emotional and financial disputes intersect with business stability. This experience fuels his commitment to helping family-owned companies protect their legacy while navigating conflict. Today, as an advisor and mediator, he helps businesses resolve succession disputes, leverage growth opportunities, and monetize intellectual property ("IP") assets to prepare for sale.
Adam has led businesses through every stage, from product inception to successful exits. As an entrepreneur, he launched products globally and defended their IP to achieve profitable sales. As CEO, he transformed a $75M+ mid-sized family enterprise of 21 companies and 450 employees, resolving a contentious succession process to achieve an exit with zero attrition. As an advisor, he secured a 30-50% premium sale price by negotiating brand ownership and streamlining operations, freeing over 10 hours per week for the CEO to focus on growth.
Specializing in family business conflict, succession planning, monetizing IP, contract disputes, and preparing businesses for sale, Adam resolves high-stakes commercial and family business matters. He resolves attorney impasses by pinpointing issues, simplifying terms, and fostering collaboration—expediting resolutions, safeguarding partnerships, and ensuring long-term success.
Adam holds a J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce, and Technology from UNH School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Colorado Boulder. As a third-generation U.S. inventor, he uncovers hidden value and enhances valuations by identifying key elements that drive a business’s IP value and resolving disputes. Notably, he negotiated a 22.5% royalty in a patent infringement settlement, paving the way for the business’s acquisition by the IP licensee.
